Kuntz's latest efforts take high-tech in new directions

Successful entrepreneurs are optimists by nature, and Jack Kuntz is no exception. So when one of Kuntz's employees returned to the office from lunch at a Chinese buffet and showed him the message from his fortune cookie, he wasn't surprised that it foretold success.
"A financial investment will yield returns beyond your hopes," it read. "You should save that," he said. "Maybe it will come true."
Kuntz, a successful entrepreneur, is hoping his latest two ventures will prove this prediction correct. Kuntz is president of iTookThisOnMyPhone.com and Advanced Motor Productions (AMP), two companies marketing two distinct products: one, a Web site where users can automatically transfer photos taken with BlackBerry and Windows camera phones; and the other, electric cars.
Launching startups in these high-tech, competition-laced fields might sound as risky as trusting a prediction from a fortune cookie, but Kuntz has shown the ability to yield results in the past.
